General Manager for Manufacturing Operations, East York (Leaside)

Lead the Stamping and Assembly departments at Marwood as their General Manager. Drive productivity, support staff development, and ensure compliance while overseeing operations in a full-time, permanent position.

As the General Manager, you will be pivotal in coordinating efforts across multiple departments including Maintenance, Tooling, Shipping/Receiving, and Plant Quality at Marwood. With at least five years of experience in production or auto marts in stamping and/or assembly, your exceptional communication skills will enhance employee development and supplier relations. You will assist with production issues and improve operational efficiency using internal and external resources.

Key Responsibilities:• Direct plant initiatives for manufacturing activities • Oversee employee competency and training programs • Collaborate with department managers on production issues • Implement performance metrics for operations • Ensure compliance with legal employment standards

Requirements:• Minimum five years in production/auto marts • Proficient in manufacturing methodologies • Strong communication skills for team and customer interaction • Knowledge of inventory control and labour management • Experience in employee development and training
