Overview

As a Cashier at Your Independent Grocer, you will connect with customers through friendly conversations, process transactions efficiently, and support the overall in‑store experience. Why this role is important

Cashiers are the face of the store, creating memorable shopping encounters for our customers. What you’ll do

Provide great customer service Scan products and process customer transactions accurately Support the delivery of company‑directed promotions and programs Handle cash and credit card transactions Keep the register area neat and stocked with essential supplies Assist customers with general inquiriesMaintain a positive environment in the store Who you are

No previous experience required; training will be provided. What you bring

Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, and weekends Ability to lift 25 lbs and remain stationary or standing for entire shifts Work Conditions

Cashiering responsibilities include handling liquor products—stating the stocking of shelves and processing sales at the cash register. Salary Range

$17.60 - $27.44 per hour (starting range). Union
