Trainer for Safety at Discovery Silver, Timiskaming North (Iroquois Falls A)

Elevate safety standards at Discovery Silver in Timmins, Ontario, as a Field Trainer. Deliver engaging training sessions while ensuring compliance and promoting a robust safety culture across the organization.

This role focuses on preparing employees through practical and theoretical training, ensuring that all safety procedures are understood and followed. With at least 2 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety in the mining sector, you will support training program improvements and maintain meticulous training records. By actively engaging with various stakeholders, you will be a key player in enhancing the safety training framework.

Key Responsibilities:• Deliver training sessions that align with regulatory requirements • Assist in developing and improving training content • Ensure compliance records are accurate and up to date • Promote IRS implementation and safety initiatives • Act as a resource for supervisors and staff

Requirements:• Grade 12 education with OHS focus preferred • Valid Ontario G driver’s license • 2 years of relevant mining experience • Knowledge of Ontario OHS regulations • Excellent planning and follow-up skills
