Elevate your career as the Supervisor of Utilities Operations at Kap Paper Inc., focusing on optimization in steam and effluent management. This position is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the Steam Plant, Effluent, and Yard Operations. With at least 5 years of supervisory experience, you’ll leverage your knowledge of boiler systems and wastewater treatment to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations. Reporting to the Utilities Superintendent, you will oversee team training, maintain relations with stakeholders, and support mill objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:• Direct daily operations in Steam Plant and Yard • Develop compliance programs and oversight • Lead training and development for team members • Implement cost-effective operational strategies • Ensure effective communication of priorities

Requirements:• Valid 1st or 2nd Class Power Engineering TSSA Ticket • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience • Strong knowledge of steam systems and wastewater • Excellent English and French communication skills • Experience in union-management environments preferred
