Yard Supervisor

to join our team in

Sudbury South, Ontario ! You will play a crucial role in maintaining productivity while fostering a safe and organized work environment. What you're responsible for: Organizing and coordinating daily yard activities to ensure efficiency Assigning tasks to yard employees and monitoring workflow to meet daily operational goalsProviding hands on support and guidance to team members Ensuring materials are sorted, processed and handled properly Motivating and encouraging employees to maintain productivity Communicating expectations and ensuring tasks are carried out accordingly Ensuring compliance with company policies and identifying opportunities for improvementQualifications

To join our team: You have a minimum 2 years experience as a Team Lead You have previous experience in recycling, industrial, construction or manufacturing environment You have previous experience with heavy equipment (forklift, loader, etc) is an asset You have strong leadership and problem solving skills, and the ability to make quick decisionsYou have hands-on experience with yard equipment, material handling, or heavy machinery You are comfortable working in a physically demanding and fact-paced environment You are comfortable working outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions
