Operations Manager Information Orillia Inc.– Orillia, ON One year contract position | $60,000–$75,000 per year | In-person

“Making a difference” Information Orillia is seeking an experienced, highly organized Operations Manager with a strong background in social services to lead internal operations and support the delivery of high-quality, community-based programs.

This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, proven leadership ability, and strong organizational and business management expertise. The successful candidate will focus on strengthening internal operations and delivering a“gold standard” of service across all programs.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of social and financial service programs

Lead, support, and supervise staff, students, and volunteers

Ensure high-quality, client-centered service delivery

Manage core service areas: System Navigation, Income Tax Clinic, Volunteer Management, Client Contact Management, and Information Hub

Implement process improvements and manage multiple projects and priorities

Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders

Represent the organization at meetings, events, and committees (limited external focus)

Collect and analyze service data to support reporting and grant applications

Ensure a safe, professional, and client-focused environment

Develop onboarding and orientation processes, including de-escalation practices

Report weekly to a designated Board representative and provide monthly operational reports

Strategic&Operational Focus

Execute strategic priorities established by the Board

Focus on internal stabilization and operational excellence

Deliver sustainable, high-quality programs aligned with community needs

Build a strong, collaborative, and sustainable team environment

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Social Work, Social Services, or related field (preferred)

Social Worker certification considered an asset

Minimum 3 years operations management experience (preferred)

Minimum 1 year experience in social services (required)

Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Excellent organizational and project management abilities

Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
