Tooling Designer for Rolling Mills, Stratford South

Join Hendrickson as a full-time Tooling Designer to create innovative tooling designs exclusively for Rolling Mills and Assembly departments. Support manufacturing with corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Your role will utilize your 5+ years of tooling design experience and a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Technologist Degree. You'll be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, supervising initial tool usage, and developing efficient tooling methods. Additionally, you will ensure thorough documentation of tooling lists and maintain current drawings in line with production needs.

Key Responsibilities:• Prepare tooling designs for new product schedules • Generate detail tooling drawings for engineering • Supervise tool usage for accuracy and efficiency • Coordinate necessary rework and improvements • Maintain and catalog tooling lists and documentation

Requirements:• Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Technology • Minimum 5 years in tooling design roles • Proficient in MasterCam and project management • Familiarity with APQP and IATF principles • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
