What You’ll Do

Design and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products

Lead new product launches, trials, and process validations

Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality

Develop capital investment plans and analyze ROI

Source and implement advanced manufacturing equipment and tooling

Improve plant layout and production flow for maximum efficiency

Reduce scrap and downtime through data‑driven engineering solutions

Ensure compliance with safety standards and lead process safety improvements

Create and maintain technical documentation and work instructions

Partner with production and maintenance teams to solve complex challenges

What We’re Looking For Required:

3–5 years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering (automotive preferred)

Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving skills

Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Knowledge of manufacturing systems, equipment, and safety standards

Highly Valued Asset:

Japanese language ability (reading&writing)– a major advantage and highly valued for collaboration with global teams

Experience in Tier 1 automotive or OEM environments

Experience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing processes

Education:

Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Trade certification (e.g., Red Seal) is an asset

Additional Information

Up to 25% travel may be required
