Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Sales Supervisor to lead our store team and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail operations. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, managing sales processes, and supporting team development to drive store success and enhance customer satisfaction.

Duties

Supervise and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service

Oversee merchandising, pricing, and inventory management to optimize product presentation and availability

Manage POS systems, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and integrity

Recruit, interview, and train new team members to ensure a skilled and cohesive workforce

Develop and implement sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities

Monitor store operations including opening/closing procedures, safety protocols, and compliance standards

Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience

Assist with purchasing decisions, budgeting, and store financial management

Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and staff development activities

Maintain organized records of sales data, payroll processing, and administrative documentation

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles within a retail environment

Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively

Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers

Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills

Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing techniques, and store management practices

Experience in recruiting, training&development, interviewing, and team building

Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Organizational skills with the ability to multitask across various responsibilities including payroll and administrative tasks

Demonstrated ability in negotiation, customer service excellence, and phone etiquette

Leadership qualities with experience in supervising staff performance and fostering a positive work environment

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail management is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.33-$20.00 per hour
