About the Role Employment Type: Contractual, full-time (1-2 years).

Responsibilities

Promote health, safety and environment policies in all aspects of assigned work

Assist Client in preparing technical scopes for any tendering activity

Attend morning operational meetings/other meetings

Act as focal point of coordination between Clients on all matters related to contract execution, including personnel deployment, invoicing, notices, documentation, permissions and statutory matters, to support smooth contract execution

Be responsible for all administrative and operational execution matters

Plan and deliver contract deliverables in a time‑bound manner

Provide reports to Client regarding the contract as and when required

Attend coordination/interface meetings with other departments, third parties and consultants involved in the project

Make presentations to Client’s upper management regarding the scope of work

Implement project goals and objectives in all phases of the project

Establish workspace communications and focal point contacts with Client and other sub‑groups of the well intervention process

Review and authorise all provided Well Engineering&Design Reports

Identify data requirements to carry out the campaign successfully

Ensure well intervention and maintenance operations are carried out safely, achieving well objectives on time, within budget, and without adverse environmental impact

Support day‑to‑day management of well intervention operations

Along with the assigned Operations Superintendent, conduct morning rig calls to discuss HSSE performance, operational performance and planned activities over the next 24 hours, and any revisions to the well intervention design, programme and procedures that may result

Ensure cost efficiency and reduce wastage throughout well programme execution phases

Contribute to compliance with regulations and company procedures, handling non‑conformities as required

Identify risks to people and the environment and mitigate them to the lowest reasonable practicability

Carry out engineering calculations and studies to ensure that well intervention, workover and P&A operating practices achieve objectives efficiently while ensuring risks of unplanned fluid release from the well are ALARP

Work with the team to ensure that well objectives are clearly understood and managed

Assist with well interventions and maintenance input to Contracts and Procurement in the preparation and execution of an appropriate tendering strategy and evaluation

Ensure all long‑lead well intervention equipment and upgrades are specified, tendered, ordered and procured in a timely optimum manner to meet the overall well operations planning schedule

Work with service providers, vessel operators and operations teams to address all Safety Case, Environmental and vessel operational issues in a timely and effective manner

Maintain close contact with service companies to propose and deploy the latest well intervention techniques and equipment in a timely and effective manner, and monitor their performance to ensure best‑in‑class service delivery across all well intervention and operations

Review prepared well operations programmes to confirm compliance with policies, procedures and recognised best practices

Document, embed and disseminate lessons learned from the planning and operational phases

Issue an accurate End‑of‑Job Report for all well intervention, workover and P&A operations in a timely manner

Review deterministic and probabilistic well operations time and cost estimates for AFE purposes

Monitor well operations spend to ensure operations are undertaken within planned budgets

Prepare or endorse written amendments to the programme for approval and gain dispensation from relevant authority when appropriate

Strive to improve well services operations by introducing researched new technology, applications, procedures and methods

Control, maintain and report on progress during intervention, workover and P&A operations and manage the post‑well operations reporting process, including QC of daily report data

Liaise with external bodies such as C-NLOPB, Well Examiner and partners as required

Requirements

Engineering degree or equivalent

Valid IWCF (level 4) or equivalent well control certificate

Minimum 20 years managing completion/intervention projects, including 5 years of offshore drilling operations on installations fitted with similar equipment

Minimum 10 years of design, planning and execution of completing subsea wells

Experience designing, planning and executing at least 3 wells transitioning between completion/intervention operations from horizontal x‑mas tree; significant work experience managing planning and execution of interventions and well operations, including evidence of managing well integrity (monitoring and testing/maintenance)

Demonstrable experience preparing well operations budgets and time/cost estimates, and evidence of budget/cost management

Comprehensive knowledge of well intervention, well integrity and well maintenance disciplines, strong problem‑solving skills and decisive action ability

Verification of education, professional qualifications and relevant offshore well engineering experience prior to assignment

Hold and maintain valid offshore safety and survival training as required by C-NLOPB and applicable offshore regulations (NOC 82021); training compliance will be verified during the interview process and monitored throughout employment
