We are seeking a Designer to join our team. They will be responsible for developing&building upon dealer/customer relationships by providing all aspects of design support while adhering to our company values and business initiatives. Success in this position will be measured by accurate and timely completion of designs, listings, and custom estimates with a cost-effective outcome. The Designer will have a familiarity with design and/or cabinet manufacturing, maintain a focused effort at communication, customer care skills, creativity, and a dedication to meeting deadlines.
A PIVOTAL ROLE ON A LARGE TEAM.
Meet with dealers/end customers to discuss overall order details
Conduct site measures, provide Drawings and specifics when required in a timely manner.
Review requests for custom items and/or designs from Dealers, Order Processors and CCR’s to determine whether a custom quote is required.
Design, prepare and issue custom drawings according to order requirements and schedules.
Address inquiries from all departments and Dealers relating to designs, Dealer Care listings, product specs or specific custom quotes.
Contact Dealers with any questions, clarifications etc. about their quotes/designs to ensure all information is provided to prevent confusion or misinterpretations.
Assist with New Dealer onboarding, offer design support, train dealers in our preferred process and help with complex orders when necessary.
Assist Dealers with designing, listing, and processing new showroom display’s and/or complex orders.
Participate in Dealer visits, Tradeshows etc. when required.
Provide support to Order Processing when required or when orders require advanced knowledge.
Review Designs, quotes and orders for accuracy and compatibility with requests
Contact Vendors when required for custom items to obtain specs and pricing.
Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with Dealers.
Represent, support, and uphold the company Core Values and Management Philosophy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

A degree from an interior design program and/or prior experience in cabinetry design.
Familiarity with the details of cabinetry design and/or cabinet manufacturing.
The ability to read floorplans/blueprints/elevations.
Proficiency with 2020 Design Software, AutoCAD or other relevant design software
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint&Teams.
