Part-Time Early Childhood Educator - Wild Rose, St. Albert

St. Albert Public Schools is seeking a part-time Early Childhood Educator for the Sprouts Junior Kindergarten Program at Wild Rose Elementary. This role focuses on high-quality learning experiences, promoting development during Monday to Thursday shifts.

This temporary position will span ten months, observing school breaks while working collaboratively within a vibrant learning community. As a key part of the team, you will implement curriculum and facilitate learning to enhance early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development among young children.

Key Responsibilities:• Deliver developmentally appropriate learning activities • Collaborate with teachers on program enhancements • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment • Observe and document children’s developmental progress • Communicate with families to support learning goals

Requirements:• Early Childhood Education Diploma or related education • 1-2 years’ experience with early childhood settings • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to adapt programming as necessary • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
