Pharmacist, St. Albert

We are seeking a Pharmacy Pharmacist to support communities across Canada. This role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for the accurate and timely receiving, preparation, and delivery of prescriptions. It ensures adequate inventory levels for patient needs, provides counseling with accurate documentation, delivers friendly and proactive interactions with all customers, and creates awareness and education through public relations.

What you’ll do

Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients.

Ensure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patient needs.

Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly, positive and proactive manner.

Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (e.g., public health days, clinics).

Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests/issues.

Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).

Provide ongoing training for new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPG’s).

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license (mandatory).

Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism.

Excellent leadership and performance management skills.

Proven ability to build the business using community‑based marketing strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem‑solving skills including experience in formulating and executing action plans.

Strong personal computing skills, and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or Kroll Pharmacy Computer system (asset).

Salary range: $58.65 to $75.90 per hour. Artificial Intelligence is used for screening, assessment, and selection.
