Community Wellness Coach at GSACRD, St. Albert

The GSACRD is seeking a Wellness Coach to enhance mental health literacy and services for children and families. This 35-hour-per-week role starts on June 22, 2026, and runs until August 31, 2026.

As part of a team under the Mental Health Capacity Building initiative, you will be instrumental in delivering programs that promote mental health and wellness. You will work collaboratively with schools, families, and community partners, emphasizing adaptive approaches to meet changing needs. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with health policies while fostering professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop and implement wellness programs for youth • Collaborate with school staff and parents • Identify resources for specialized mental health services • Ensure compliance with Alberta health regulations • Gather data for program evaluation purposes

Requirements:• Formal education in health or social sciences • At least 2 years in mental health or human services • Experience in public speaking and program delivery • Strong relationship and collaboration skills • Criminal background check and professional credentials required
