Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as jackhammers, drills, and sandblasters Perform bridge maintenance tasks, including cleaning, sealing, painting, and placing structural concrete Work with structural steel, concrete, and various construction materials Follow specifications, safety, and quality standardsWhat You Bring
3+ years bridge or construction experience (preferred) Journeyperson or registered Pile Driver / Bridge Worker certification (asset but not required) Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 an asset) Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working outdoors at heights, in confined spaces, and with heavy equipmentBridge Apprenticeship Program Highlights
Paid travel and living‑out allowance for technical training Covered enrollment fees and materials Opportunities to challenge exams and grow within the trade Work Conditions
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8–13 hours per day Shift work, nights, and on‑call as needed Full‑time, year‑round position Overnight travel required to work sites around Alberta in a Ledcor Crew truck Accommodations and meal allowance provided when working out of town Position is only open to locals based in the greater Edmonton areaRates&Premiums
Starting rate $24.50 per hour, with opportunities to progress toward fully paid apprenticeship and journeyperson rates up to $35.00 per hour Night shift premium of $3 per hour Comprehensive benefits&RRSP program Safety gear allowances Benefits
Employees receive a comprehensive health and benefits package, including extended health and dental, vision care, disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as access to mental health and wellness resources.
