Community Disability Assistant Role, Sherwood Park West

Shape the lives of individuals with disabilities as a Community Disability Assistant at the Robin Hood Association in Sherwood Park. Engage in a dynamic full-time role Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

This position focuses on implementing personalized service plans while ensuring the safety and inclusion of clients in various community activities. You'll work collaboratively within a supportive team to enhance individual capabilities and foster respectful relationships.

Key Responsibilities:• Implement effective individual service plans for community support • Model and promote socially appropriate behaviors • Monitor safety and health of clients during shifts • Communicate with family members about client progress • Assist in the development of life skills and independence

Requirements:• Post-secondary education in relevant fields preferred • Basic coaching and mentoring abilities • Skilled in time management and problem-solving • Ability to work flexible hours efficiently • Positive mindset with teamwork skills
