Seasonal/Casual Retail Floral Merchandiser, Sherbrooke

Starting next week! We are recruiting for Floral Field Merchandisers to work within a designated region on behalf of growers to merchandise plant programs in large retailers.

You will be responsible for travelling to retail locations, locating incoming orders, ensuring they are placed on the sales floor, managing inventory, pricing, and providing maintenance on all items in the retail locations in a designated region.

Store visits occur approximately 1-2 times per week and in-store time ranges from 45 minutes to 1 hour per location.

Pay is paid at a flat rate for each location visited.

Visits can be completed anytime during store hours within the allotted time frame provided by grower request.

Reliable transportation with the ability to travel to multiple locations within 30-45 minutes of your home base

Ability to work in an independent, self-managed environment

Floral or plant maintenance knowledge

Customer service skills

Personable and can easily build strong relationships

Keen to learn new information quickly

Able to multi-task, efficient in time management

Troubleshoot and problem solving ability

Merchandising or retail experience

Access to a cell phone with data for online reporting is a MUST for this position
