Responsibilities&Expectations

Conduct coordination, harmonic, short-circuit, and arc flash studies.

Perform load profile measurements and analyze electrical disturbances (transient phenomena).

Participate in heating, dielectric, and partial discharge testing on medium‑voltage electrical equipment.

Size electrical network components (transformers, switching equipment, protection relays, etc.).

Select protection relays and medium‑voltage distribution equipment.

Design, plan, and manage electrical equipment modification projects.

Develop detailed engineering plans.

Assist in preparing service proposals and cost estimates for client requests.

Write precise and comprehensive technical reports.

Analyze and interpret electrical circuits.

Qualifications and Competencies

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or be registered in the OIQ's engineering profession candidate registry.

Hold a Class 5 driver’s license.
