As a Field Wildlife Monitor, you will be essential to the core environmental initiatives at Torngat Metals’ Strange Lake project. Reporting to the Camp Supervisor, your role involves active monitoring of wildlife, advising field teams on safe practices, and fostering Indigenous knowledge application. This position is pivotal in maintaining biodiversity and implementing effective environmental measures.

Key Responsibilities:• Observe and document wildlife around camp areas • Reduce wildlife-operation interactions through active engagement • Advise field teams on proper safety practices • Implement environmental mitigation measures • Compile and report daily observation findings

Requirements:• Experience in wildlife or land-based work • Understanding of local traditional practices • Good judgment and sense of responsibility • Ability to work in remote settings • Strong teamwork and communication skills
