Lead financial strategy as a Senior Comptroller for group entities, delivering insights and driving compliance. Manage crucial financial operations and enhance organizational decision-making.
As the Senior Comptroller, you will hold a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations for group entities, including forecasting, reporting, and risk management. Your strategic insights will guide the organization's financial direction while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. You will play a key role in budget preparation and cash flow management, driving continuous improvements in all accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:• Manage financial performance reporting and forecasting initiatives • Direct all core accounting operations and internal controls • Oversee billing and revenue recognition processes • Lead budgeting and capital expenditure tracking • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and standards
Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting • CPA designation strongly preferred or in progress • At least 5 years of relevant financial leadership experience • Experience with First Nation or Indigenous organizations a plus • Strong understanding of accounting frameworks(ASPE, IFRS)
