Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Shop Assistant to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with product displays, and supporting sales activities in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering a positive shopping experience. Bilingual skills and experience in technology sales or merchandising are considered valuable assets.Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and stock arrangements Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering dutiesUpsell products and promote special offers to increase sales Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed efficiently during shiftsSkills

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases Solid communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening Experience in retail sales, technical sales, or merchandising preferred Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skillsCustomer service orientation with a friendly attitude Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Time management skills to prioritize responsibilities effectively Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively Knowledge of technology products is a plus but not requiredExcellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly sales environment Pay: $15.73-$28.48 per hour Work Location: In person
