Fleet Maintenance Journeyman Mechanic, Saskatoon

Join GFL in Saskatoon as a skilled Journeyman Mechanic for Fleet Maintenance. This full-time position offers exciting challenges in repairing and maintaining specialized trucks and equipment.

As part of GFL's Fleet Maintenance division, you will work with Hydrovac and Water Trucks and undertake critical repairs on heavy-duty vehicles. Your mechanical expertise will contribute to the seamless operation of our fleet. A strong emphasis on safety and organizational skills will be crucial, ensuring all repairs meet GFL’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct routine diagnostics and troubleshooting • Repair engines, drivetrains, and hydraulic systems • Participate in safety program compliance • Test repaired equipment for performance • Maintain thorough documentation of repairs

Requirements:• Valid Journeyman certification in Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment • Class 5 Drivers License; 1A or 3A preferred • Proven mechanical skills across varied machinery • Willingness to work overtime when necessary • Experience with SGI Motor Vehicle Inspection Program is advantageous
