Chief Medical Dosimetrist Leadership Role, Saskatoon

Lead the Dosimetry team as Chief Medical Dosimetrist within our Medical Physics Department. Ensure high-quality radiation therapy practices and patient safety while promoting an excellent work environment.

This senior role requires oversight of daily operations and compliance with radiation therapy standards. The Chief Medical Dosimetrist serves as the primary contact for interdepartmental queries related to dosimetry and collaborates closely with colleagues at multiple sites for consistency in patient care. Key skills include leadership, technical expertise in radiation oncology, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:• Supervise Dosimetry team operations and workflow • Ensure compliance with radiation therapy safety standards • Train and mentor staff in treatment planning and protocols • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care • Develop optimal treatment plans using advanced software

Requirements:• Bachelor’s in Radiation Therapy or equivalent • Three years of experience as a Medical Dosimetrist • Certification in Canadian Dosimetry or Medical Dosimetry • Leadership Certification within two years • Licensed with CMRIPS and CAMRT membership
