Saskatoon Retina Consultants is hiring a Part-Time Medical Office Assistant/Ophthalmic Technician. Engage directly with patients while handling essential clinic functions in our retinal specialty practice.

This position involves significant interaction with patients, requiring a respectful attitude and detailed orientation to multitasking. Candidates will conduct vital testing, assist in diagnostic procedures, and help maintain a seamless clinic atmosphere. Teamwork and a positive attitude are crucial to success in this role at our busy ophthalmology center.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform patient testing, including medical history assessments • Conduct diagnostic tests like keratometry and OCT • Support procedures for intraocular injections and laser treatments • Facilitate efficient operation of the clinic by assisting physicians • Foster a compassionate environment for patients

Requirements:• Technical proficiency in ophthalmic equipment • Previous experience as an Ophthalmic Technician or Optician • Strong attention to detail and communication skills • Ability to thrive in a busy environment • Team-oriented with a caring approach towards patients
