Supply Chain Superintendent– 2026-075 Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking a
Supply Chain Superintendent
to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a Monday to Thursday rotation. This position would be available to those living in close proximity to our site, or those open to relocating.
Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is advancing the McIlvenna Bay project, a cornerstone asset and one of the most significant copper development projects in Canada. As the leader of the on‑site Supply Chain team, this position is responsible for managing all procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, and material handling activities supporting the Mine Site. The
Supply Chain Superintendent
will lead and develop the Supply Chain team while ensuring alignment with operational and maintenance requirements to support safe, efficient, and reliable site operations. This role is accountable for managing departmental performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting budgeting and planning activities, and ensuring effective inventory control and material availability to meet operational needs.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and support the Supply Chain team while promoting a positive work culture, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Manage day‑to‑day Supply Chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, and material handling activities.
Identify operational challenges and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, service levels, and overall departmental performance.
Develop, monitor, and report on departmental KPIs, processes, procedures, and work instructions to support operational effectiveness and consistency.
Support departmental budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and capital improvement initiatives related to warehouse and Supply Chain operations.
Manage warehouse and yard organization to support inventory accuracy, storage utilization, material flow, and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with operations, maintenance, vendors, and other internal stakeholders.
Provide leadership, coaching, training, mentorship, and performance management support to Supervisors and Supply Chain team members.
Promote and enforce compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, site procedures, and safety standards.
Monitor inventory levels and support critical spare management strategies to maintain operational readiness and minimize risk.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, inventory optimization, cost reduction, and service delivery improvements.
Lead or support operational improvement projects and other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
Job Qualifications and Skills
Associate degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, or a related field considered an asset.
Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation considered an asset.
10+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or Supply Chain functions within mining, industrial, or heavy industry environments preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems, inventory software, and computer applications.
Strong organizational, time management, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, industry best practices, and safe work procedures.
Recent mining industry experience considered an asset.
Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $150,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short‑term and long‑term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
