Key qualifications include a Class I Water Distribution and Water Treatment Certificate. Candidates actively progressing toward Class II certification may also be considered if at least one component is complete. Practical experience operating light and heavy equipment such as tractors, skid steers, and mowers is required. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to coach and mentor staff, communicate clearly with the public, complete administrative tasks such as purchasing and coding transactions, and follow ministry procedures and OH&S regulations. A valid driver’s licence and availability to work weekends are also required.
