Sales Agronomist, Central Saskatchewan (Humboldt)

Central Plains Co-operative Limited is recruiting for the position of Sales Agronomist to be based out of the Rosetown Agro Centre. The Sales Agronomist will take a lead role in partnering with local producers and assisting them in finding innovative solutions to help grow their business.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with producers through farm visits and customer events.

Support growers' crop production needs by providing crop protection information, recommendations, and field scouting.

Market and deliver crop supply products to new and existing customers.

Assist with managing product inventories and ensuring proper handling and storage of products.

Assist with operations at the Agro location.

Assist with achieving annual department goals to grow the Central Plains Co-op Agro Division.

Qualifications and Requirements

Exceptional relationship building skills.

Excellent communication skills including planning, time management, analytical, decision-making, and problem solving.

Self‑motivated and eager to work with existing and potential customers to help grow their businesses.

Understanding of business goals and ability to create a plan to achieve them.

Ability to work independently and as part of a well‑integrated team of professionals.

Comprehensive understanding of crop inputs, including agronomics and agricultural technology.

Post‑secondary education in agriculture or a related field.

Experience in sales or an adequate combination of experience and education.

Registration with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists or eligibility for registration.

Certified Crop Advisor designation is considered an asset.

Valid Driver's License.
