Role: Clinical Microbiology Diagnostic Lab Technician

Pay Band: 18 ($41,980 - $44,970) with 3-step range

Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Facility: Royal University Hospital

Employment Terms: Full-time, Permanent

Shift Information: Days, Weekends; 14 shifts of 8 hours over 3 weeks per rotation

Union: SEIU, Travel Required: No

Responsibilities Performs laboratory duties for the detection, prevention, and management of physiological and pathological conditions. Coordinates and leads technical staff and work processes of a laboratory or laboratory discipline/subsection.

Qualifications

Experience: 24 months discipline‑specific experience

Education: Medical Laboratory Technology diploma (MLT)

Licenses: College of Medical Laboratory Professionals of Saskatchewan; Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (Certified)

Competencies: Leadership skills; Organizational skills; Intermediate computer skills; Analytical skills; Communication skills; Interpersonal skills

Knowledge&Abilities: Ability to work independently

Other: Valid driver's license where required
