Production Operator, Saskatoon

Position Summary The Production Operator completes electronic, mechanical, and software related production processes on components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies. The incumbent also determines and/or follows best practice methods and sequence of operations in performing these processes on live product.

Duties

Assemble electronic components efficiently

Perform material handling of products

Use and maintain ESD equipment and PPE, performing daily testing as required and reporting any damage or failures

Participate in daily team meetings and contribute ideas to meet performance objectives

Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety

Position Requirements

Grade 12 diploma or GED

Minimum of 1 year of previous manufacturing assembly and test experience

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with high sense of urgency, and flexibility to cross‑train in different production areas

Intermediate computer skills (Excel and Word, including editing work instructions)

Ability to lift 35 lbs safely

Effective communication skills

Self‑motivated and willing to learn

Team player; share ideas, concerns, improvements, successes, and failures with the team
