Sun-Fun Program Coordinator Position, Saint John

Become the Sun-Fun Program Coordinator for PIB this summer, providing engaging recreational and cultural activities from June 30 to August 27, 2025. Lead children and youth in grades 3-7 for a fulfilling experience.

This temporary summer role reports to the Youth Recreation Team Lead and involves planning recreational sports and cultural activities in a supportive setting. You will work to ensure a positive and safe environment where PIB community members’ children can thrive through meaningful experiences. Your efforts will help cultivate a fun-filled 8-week program highlighting teamwork and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop a variety of age-appropriate activities • Facilitate recreational sports and land-based programs • Organize guest speakers for educational engagement • Ensure safety and enjoyment for all participants • Support youth participation from grades 3-7

Requirements:• Experience in youth engagement or recreational programming • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities • Passion for cultural and recreational initiatives • Ability to create enjoyable program experiences • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
