Sales Representative / Sales Manager– Western Canada
Location: Canada (Saskatchewan or Manitoba Preferred) Applicants must currently reside in Canada. About the Company
AMVT LLC is a leading provider of advanced optical sorting and food inspection machinery. Headquartered in Katy, Texas, we specialize in the sales, marketing, and customer support of high-performance equipment used in the processing of rice, grains, beans, nuts, coffee, cherries/berries, vegetables, and recycling industries. Our diverse product line includes full-color RGB sorters, infrared (IR) sorters, belt sorters, x-ray sorters, metal detectors, checkweighers, and packaging machines.About the Role
To support our continued growth and customer base in Canada, we are looking for a motivated sales skilled to support business development and customer relationships across Western Canada. This role focuses on developing new customer opportunities, supporting existing accounts, and working closely with customers in the agricultural and food processing industries.Responsibilities
Develop and maintain customer relationships across Western Canada Identify new business opportunities and support sales growth within the region Conduct customer visits, equipment presentations, and follow-up activities Coordinate with internal technical and service teams to support customer needsRepresent the company at industry events and trade shows Maintain accurate records of customer activities, leads, and sales opportunities Support customers throughout the sales process, including equipment inquiries and after-sales follow-up Qualifications
Experience in agricultural equipment, industrial equipment, processing equipment, or technical sales preferred Background in agriculture, food processing, automation, or related industries is strongly preferred Experience managing customer relationships within a territory-based sales environment is an assetStrong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and comfortable working independently Willingness to travel regularly within Western Canada Technical or mechanical knowledge is considered an asset English required; French is an asset Preferred Skills

Competitive base salary plus commission and performance-based incentives. Position level and compensation structure will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, industry background, and overall qualifications. About the Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to work with an established customer base in the agricultural and food processing industries while continuing to grow business across Western Canada. The position is highly customer-facing and suited for someone who enjoys managing relationships, developing new opportunities, and working closely with customers across the region.Candidates with backgrounds in equipment sales, agriculture, processing operations, technical support, or customer-facing industrial roles are encouraged to apply. Position level and responsibilities may be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
