Do you have solid experience in Digital Architecture of complex Information Systems, have you worked in the field of transversal IT, infrastructure and/or application solution architectures and would you like to progress and develop new skills? Then this job is for you! The North America Digital team is looking for a Lead Advisor System Architecture (SAFE role) to join our Airbus Digital North America team where you will work jointly with the international Airbus Digital teams.You will be part of the architecture team responsible for the roadmap and the integration of architectures within the“Transversal and Enablers” Agile Release Train (ART) of Airbus Digital North America. Your role as Lead Advisor System Architecture will be to guide the architecture practice, ensure the consistency and quality/validation of Architecture Dossiers (ARD) delivered by the team, and guide approximately 15 solution, infrastructure and cybersecurity architects within the ART. You will be part of the SAFE Solution (SAFE Large Solution) governance team and co‑lead the Architecture Competence Center.Your working environment

Your challenges

Lead the architecture practice for the Transversal and Enablers ART by guiding approximately 15 solution, infrastructure and cybersecurity architects within the ART. Ensure the technical consistency and compliance of Architecture Dossiers (ARD) delivered by the team, respecting Airbus standards and models (e.g., Archimate).Define and maintain the architectural roadmap for the ART, integrating the strategic roadmaps defined by the Enterprise Architecture cell, to which you contribute. Support architects in formalizing functional and non‑functional requirements into requirement covering matrices. Promote and implement advanced architectural concepts such as Zero Trust, cloud, microservices, artificial intelligence, SecDevOPS and data streaming.Establish a smooth integration process for new architectures into the overall IT landscape of Airbus Digital North America. Develop a continuous improvement practice (simplify, framework, knowledge sharing, AI automation). Arbitrate complex technical decisions within the ART and produce clear decision matrices for management.Be a permanent member of the Architecture board approving all Digital North America designs. Ensure the strategic alignment of the architecture with the objectives of the ART and the Digital North America division. Your profile

At least five (5) years of solid experience in complex Information Systems architecture and technical team leadership. Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., Archimate) and proven experience in producing Architecture Dossiers (ARD). Significant experience in managing and mentoring a team of architects.Deep expertise in Cloud architectures (GCP preferred), datacenter, network and AI. Strong understanding of Security by Design principles and Zero Trust, API security and IAM (Identity and Access Management) concepts. Communication and negotiation skills to arbitrate architectural choices with management and stakeholders.Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in computer science or a related discipline. Advanced/negotiation level proficiency in English is mandatory. French is an asset. This role may involve some business travel in the USA and in Europe.
