Become the Commissioning Leader at Electra Battery Materials and lead North America’s cobalt sulfate refinery’s start-up in Ontario. This is a pivotal role in advancing the critical minerals sector.

As the full-time leader, you will transition from construction to operational readiness, leveraging your extensive hydrometallurgical knowledge. Your experience with solvent extraction and crystallization will be key to stabilizing processes. The role demands building a high-performance culture; fostering a safe and compliant work environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:• Direct construction to commissioning and production ramp-up • Implement a zero-harm safety culture across operations • Optimize core refinery processes for maximum performance • Troubleshoot and resolve key operational issues effectively • Achieve production targets for battery-gradematerials

Requirements:• 15+ years in hydrometallurgy and refinery operations • Proven track record in plant start-up phases • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills • Education in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering • Experience in cobalt or analogous systems preferred
