Reporting directly to the Manager of Aquatics and Community Wellness, you will lead city-run fitness services at Minoru Centre, Watermania, and Garratt Wellness Centre. The role emphasizes collaboration, technical expertise, and service quality. Strong leadership abilities and excellent customer service skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:• Oversee operations at Minoru Centre and Watermania • Serve as liaison to the Richmond Fitness and Wellness Association • Research innovations for effective wellness outcomes • Direct staff recruitment, performance management, and scheduling • Manage the annual fitness operating budget and financial targets
Requirements:• Bachelor’s in Kinesiology or a related field • 5+ years’ management experience • Certification in fitness training (BCRPA preferred) • Class 5 Drivers License required • Ability to clear a Police Information Check
