Experienced Electrical Components Purchaser, Richmond

FPS Food Process Solutions seeks an experienced Electrical Components Purchaser to enhance procurement efficiency. This role focuses on collaborating with engineers while managing supplier relationships.

In this position, part of a leader in turn-key food freezing systems, you will utilize your purchasing experience and electrical engineering knowledge to support current and future projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings will be crucial as you navigate supplier negotiations and inventory forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:• Issue purchase orders based on engineering requests • Confirm delivery schedules and update project teams • Monitor supplier performance and inventory status • Forecast component usage and place orders accordingly • Identify reliable suppliers for production tools

Requirements:• 2+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing • Electrical engineering knowledge and technical drawing interpretation • Capable of working independently under deadlines • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP • Strong communication skills in English; Chinese preferred
