Senior Software Architect - AI Innovations, Richmond Hill

Lead AI innovations at OpenText as a Senior Principal Software Architect. This role focuses on hands-on architecture design and AI systems improvement.

As part of the AI Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and evolving secure AI solutions. Collaborate with architects and developers to implement agentic systems and optimize existing architectures. You will create prototypes, validate methods, and ensure best practices throughout the AI project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:• Design enterprise-ready RAG pipeline systems and solutions • Build prototypes to guide team development • Advise on evaluation strategies and prompt management • Help refactor existing AI solutions for better performance • Translate AI application patterns into practical implementations

Requirements:• 12+ years of relevant software engineering experience • Proven hands-on experience in enterprise AI innovation • Strong understanding of the AI system lifecycle • Ability to lead architectural discussions among teams • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
