We are recruiting for

Regional Garden Centre Merchandiser

to work within a designated region on behalf of growers to merchandise plant programs in large retailers.

You will be responsible for travelling to your retail location, locating incoming orders, ensuring they are placed on the sales floor according to the planogram, managing inventory and pricing, and providing maintenance on all items in the retail locations in a designated region.

Store visits occur approximately 2-3 times per week with 6 hours per week allocated.

Visits can be completed anytime during store hours within the allotted time frame provided by the grower request.

Qualifications:

Enjoy working flexible schedules on various programs and projects during different times of the year.

Reliable transportation with the ability to travel to multiple locations within 30-45 minutes of the home base.

Ability to work in an independent, self‑managed environment.

Knowledge of floral or plant maintenance.

Customer service skills.

Personable and able to easily build strong relationships.

Keen to learn new information quickly.

Efficiently multitask and manage time.

Troubleshoot and problem‑solving ability.

Merchandising or retail experience.

Reliable personal transportation to commute to locations efficiently.

Access to a cell phone with data for online reporting is a must for this position.
