Instructor - Primary Care Paramedic - Continuing Education (EMER-1640 Urinary Catheterization Module) Below you will find the details for the position including any supplementary documentation and questions you should review before applying for the opening.

Course Schedule These courses are a combination of online content and an in person or distance lab (depending on what the students choose). Multiple courses will run through the year, dates for REGINA are as follows:
September 21– October 21, 2026 (Lab: October 21, 2026 16:30‑19:30)
February 1– March 3, 2027 (Lab: March 3, 2027 16:30‑19:30)
April 26– May 26, 2027 (Lab: May 26, 2027 16:30‑19:30)
Lab dates run dependent on student enrollment. Faculty is responsible for being available in a timely manner to pack and ship kit from the Regina campus for distance students.
Job Duties• Create an outline for the day, prepare the room and supplies prior to the start time and clean up afterwards. • Teach and demonstrate related skills, provide scenarios and answer student’s questions. • Complete performance skill testing as required, submit any required paperwork to Continuing Education, and finalize official grades.• For distance labs, instructor is responsible for appropriately supplying the kit, packing and shipping it in a timely manner, marking online video submissions, and checking/repacking the lab kit once it is returned.
Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Experience Required Qualifications
Completion of an ACP (Advanced Care Paramedic) program from an approved school.
Minimum of two years’ experience as an EMT-P/ACP.
Current license with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
Current Instructor level certification in International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) and CPR.
Current Provider level certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PedALS).
Understanding of the ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education to assist learners with the required emergency health care knowledge and skills.
Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written and oral presentation skills and the ability to develop and maintain productive working relations with instructors, program administrators, employers, students, other clients and the public.
Experience facilitating Emergency Health Care students in a preceptor‑based practicum.
Demonstrates valuing diversity.
Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty.
Desired Qualifications
Baccalaureate degree in a related field of study.
Computer literate.
