Position Overview The Rusty Shovel is hiring seasonal team members to join our retail showroom team for the 2026 season. We're looking for friendly, motivated individuals who enjoy helping people and want to be part of a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Whether you're working with contractors or homeowners tackling their first DIY project, you’ll play a key role in helping customers bring their outdoor spaces to life.

Term Options Seasonal: April– November Summer: May – August

What You’ll Do

Deliver exceptional customer service in-store, over the phone, and via email.

Help customers select products for landscape projects (pavers, walls, turf, lighting, irrigation, etc.).

Learn basic landscape construction concepts and product knowledge.

Support the sales team with quotes, order entry, and follow–ups.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.

What We're Looking For

Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Ability to take a consultative, helpful approach with customers.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail setting.

Willingness to learn (no landscape experience required; we’ll teach you).

Team player who shows up ready to contribute.
