It also funds the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan.The Project Planning and Delivery Branch is seeking a results-oriented Engineer to join as Project Manager. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong project management skills, able to manage capital projects from planning through construction while ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, and ministry processes.Candidates should have knowledge of project management, contract administration, procurement policies, and building design and construction. Familiarity with public sector procurement, trade agreements, and government decision-making is an asset. Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) is required, along with eligibility for registration with APEGS. PMP certification is an asset. Five years of related experience in a public sector or similar environment is preferred. Equivalent education and experience willbe considered.Responsibilities include leading project teams, managing budgets and contracts, overseeing design and construction, ensuring quality control, and preparing executive briefings.
