Summit Search Group has partnered with an established, privately held industrial distributor who services the construction, agriculture, automotive, trucking, and manufacturing industries, and is seeking a Strategic Account Manager in Regina. As the Strategic Account Manager, you will own a portfolio of customers across a portion of southern and central Saskatchewan, helping them succeed, while improving account quality, margin, and service efficiency.As a trusted advisor, you will bring strong commercial judgement to pricing, product mix, and service decisions. What You’ll Do
Own an assigned portfolio as the primary commercial contact. Become a trusted advisor by learning customer operations, equipment, and business priorities. Retain and grow accounts while improving profitability, gross profit after freight, and CTS. Spot underperforming accounts and lead corrective actions.Build practical account plans for priority customers and execute them. Lead value‑based pricing conversations and protect margin and service sustainability. Find growth inside existing accounts. Introduce products and services that improve customer performance and loyalty. Support targeted new business opportunities that fit the territory plan and profitability expectations.Keep CRM activity, opportunities, and account plans current and accurate. Participate in sales meetings, training, and continuous improvement. What You Bring
3+ years in account management, outside sales, or a related commercial role. Experience in industrial, heavy equipment, MRO, construction, oilfield, or related sectors an asset. Track record of building relationships and delivering profitable results. Strong business and financial acumen. Consultative, value‑based selling and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and relationship‑building ability. Highly organized; able to prioritize and manage a portfolio with autonomy. Comfort with Microsoft Office and CRM (Dynamics or similar). Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory. Remuneration
