You will be responsible for winter and seasonal maintenance of Alberta highways, using various heavy equipment.Video: Essential Responsibilities

Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required. Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways year‑round, including assisting with Labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.). Work outside in all weather conditions.Qualifications

Successful completion of pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement. Clear 3‑year driver’s abstract. Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strongasset.Work Conditions

Shift work, on‑call and night shift may be required as weather patterns change. Benefits and RSPs provided by CLAC. Rates&Premiums

Base hourly rate from $26.50 to $31 per hour based on experience. Operators eligible for a premium starting at $8 per hour when performing winter maintenance operations. Class 1 operators operating the tow plow unit eligible for a premium starting at $14 per hour. Benefits
