JOB DESCRIPTION Summary The successful candidate will be integral to achieving Borealis’ operational and strategic objectives. We require a self-motivated professional capable of thriving within a dynamic workplace. Primary accountabilities include operating crane trucks, placing LPG storage vessels, and providing technical support to the service department. Furthermore, this role entails performing bulk propane deliveries to our diverse customer base. Given the visibility of this position, a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience is paramount.

Duties&Responsibilities

Support Borealis’ vision for LPG service excellence in Central Alberta

Assist in the installation of new Borealis tanks when required and operate the crane truck, which includes:

climbing on the crane truck deck to install and remove rigging; safely operating the crane (experience and training may be required);

Complete work tickets, inspections, and Bill of Ladings as required

Participate in the on-call rotation

Willingness to undertake regional travel and work at various field locations as operationally required.

Evacuate the fuel in competitor tanks (customer-owned fuel) and return tanks to competitors' yards when required;

Operate the bulk truck for fuel deliveries, which includes:

climbing in and out of the truck safely multiple times per day (up to 30 or more);

pulling the delivery hose to tanks up to 150 feet away in snow, up and down hills if required;

lifting and installing heavy-duty tire chains (approx. 60 lbs) if required in the winter;

interface with MOGO in the bulk truck;

Facilitate orders through the onboard truck computer system.

Education / Experience

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

Class 1 or 3 driver's licence with Air Brake endorsement

Crane truck experience is an asset.

Bulk handling, bottle fill PTI recognized courses (Borealis will provide training), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)

Position Requirements

Knowledge of the LPG/fuel industry

Proficient with computers and office software

Exceptional communication and time management skills.

Multitasking and the ability to work with teams.

Solid knowledge of the Alberta Oil and Gas industry is an asset

Communication and self-organization skills, a hands-on mentality

Attention to detail and a self-starter

Fit for duty and physically able to perform the above duties safely.
