Housekeeper Position in Red Deer, Central Foothills (Sundre)

Optima Living is seeking a Housekeeper in Red Deer, Alberta to maintain a welcoming environment for our senior residents. Focus on cleanliness and safety while supporting our community’s values.

You will work under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, ensuring that all areas are clean and sanitary. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, bathroom sanitation, and responding to cleaning emergencies. You will also be involved in maintaining inventory of supplies and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:• Clean, sanitize, and organize living and common areas • Ensure bathrooms are hygienic and well-maintained • Change linens and make beds in residents' rooms • Report maintenance issues to keep safe environment • Follow organizational standards and protocols

Requirements:• Previous experience in housekeeping or health care is an asset • Knowledge of cleaning methods is essential • Communication and interpersonal skills are important • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently • Must have a clear Police Information Check
