General Information
Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week Education: College/CEGEP Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience Work site environment: Cold/refrigerated, Clean, Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment Responsibilities
Prepare production and other reports Food safety/handling skills Supervisory Experience Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend replacement of machines Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniquesPlan and organize daily operations Oversee production Evaluate daily operations Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning Required Certifications
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate First Aid Certificate Manufacturing sector experience Food Regulations knowledge Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Physical&Workplace Requirements
