Conditions

Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work (No Camp or LOA provided)

As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on‑call, and night shift will be required

Will be provided a pay rate of $20.50 to $23.75 per hour based on experience

Night shift premium $3/hr

Essential Responsibilities

Perform various highway maintenance tasks including crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting, etc.

Assist with traffic control procedures

Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment

Perform other road maintenance duties as required

Work outside in all weather conditions

Qualifications

Successfully complete pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing

Physically able to perform demanding outdoor tasks

Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clear 3‑year driver’s abstract

Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or flagging experience is a strong asset
