The Mustard Seed is seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Worker for a summer position to assist with volunteer coordination and community programs. This role emphasizes recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers, while also promoting awareness about local social issues. Engage youth and children through community activities that build healthy relationships.

Key Responsibilities:• Plan and implement community engagement activities • Promote programs to local churches and colleges • Serve as the first contact for volunteers • Maintain and input data into the volunteer database • Organize events with internal and external partners

Requirements:• Passion for poverty and homelessness education • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills • Enrolled full-time in a post-secondary program • Ages 18-30 at the start of employment • Willing to commit to the full summer program
