Red Deer Licensed Practical Nurse Position, Central Foothills (Sundre)

The PChAD program is on the lookout for a Licensed Practical Nurse to enhance its interdisciplinary team. In this essential role, you will work closely with youth and families, implementing personalized service plans in various community settings. Your focus will be on providing emotional and physical support while driving client independence and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist with detoxification and assessments of clients • Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team setting • Promote clients’ social and emotional well-being • Create and implement treatment strategies • Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions

Requirements:• Graduated from an accredited practical nursing program • CLPNA registration required or eligibility • Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider certification • At least two years of experience with the youth population • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices
