Description Industry leader in Creating assistive surgical robotics to revolutionize eye care. On Site-Full Time
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in engineering inspection or a related technical role.
Familiarity with engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret technical documents, plans, and specifications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for report writing and team collaboration.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, AWS, or similar) are advantageous.
Ability to utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), to verify dimensions and tolerances
Experience level: 3-5 years
Education: High School Diploma required
Responsibilities
Inspects incoming commodities and sub-assemblies for conformance to applicable drawings and specifications
Perform detailed inspections and testing of incoming materials and components using established procedures and tools
Accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformances
Prepare and present inspection reports, ensuring all data is entered into the quality management system (QMS)
Ensure all incoming materials and components comply with company quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to medical devices and quality assurance
Perform field and laboratory testing of materials and systems as required.
Document findings and maintain accurate inspection reports.
Support the design and planning phases of engineering projects with technical input.
Monitor project progress and provide feedback to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during inspections or installations.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols on all sites and in all processes.
