We’re looking for candidates with construction experience who are ready to take on physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, kneeling, working from heights, using hand and power tools, and staying on their feet for extended periods.

Job Description
Complete site preparation work for precast concrete wall panels
Assist in installing precast concrete components for commercial, industrial, multi-story, and agricultural buildings
Assist with the rigging and signaling for cranes
Perform a variety of tasks that help the progress of the build
Work effectively within a crew of 3-5 team members on the construction site
Take direction and collaborate with your foreman or supervisor
Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures
Requirements
Applicants successful in the interview process will be asked to complete a pre-employment assessment as part of the final hiring process
Valid Standard First Aid, Aerial Work Platform, and Fall Protection certification
Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation
Available to work away from home Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Ability to work at heights with proper safety restraints
Proficient English communication skills to receive and relay information to and from crew members, foremen, and supervisors
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta
Assets
Apprentice or Journeyman Ironworker certificate
Previous experience installing precast structures and components
Experience operating small equipment | Ex: skid steer, zoom boom, and aerial work platforms
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Completion of Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) course
